Questions worth asking before you pick

What GradeForge does and does not do

GradeForge teaches one course: Ontario Grade 9 Mathematics, course code MTH1W. A student answers five reviewed questions with no account, and the result names one likely starting skill with worked feedback and clearly labelled initial evidence. Continuing into the 22-question diagnostic produces a gap report, and each day after that one five-question mission targets a single skill. A weekly challenge produces a privacy-safe result card.

It does not cover grades 10 to 12, it does not teach other subjects, and it does not produce a mark. There is no public profile, school ranking, class discovery or chat, and only approved, curriculum-mapped questions can affect the mastery picture.

Questions about the comparison

Is GradeForge free?

Yes. The five-question check, the full 22-question diagnostic, the gap report, one personalised daily mission, the weekly challenge, basic progress and explanations are free.

How is GradeForge different from a general practice site?

GradeForge covers one course, Ontario Grade 9 Mathematics (MTH1W), and returns one likely starting skill with worked feedback instead of a score alone. It does not cover grades 10 to 12 or other subjects.

Can GradeForge replace a teacher or an EQAO result?

No. GradeForge shows learning evidence and confidence. It is not affiliated with EQAO and does not predict an EQAO result or a report-card mark.
